Glitter Cymru is a Cardiff-based social meet-up group for the LGBTQ+ global majority, and was founded in response to the lack of representation and inclusion that many queer people of colour experience within both the LGBTQ+ community and wider society.

The group provides a safe, welcoming space for the Global Majority community – welcoming refugees, asylum seekers, international students, and Welsh residents to connect, build community, and celebrate their identities.

This exhibition invites you to discover who Glitter Cymru are, and to explore the powerful work they’re doing in Cardiff and beyond. Through storytelling and photography, the exhibition highlights their key milestones, celebrates the diversity of their members, and showcases the impact of inclusive community spaces.
